Stellenbosch

Stellenbosch, the second oldest town, is a picturesque university town, 45 minutes from Cape Town. Its beautiful, oak shaded streets are lined with cafes and restaurants. The historic town centre is a living museum and enjoys a vibrant street culture. You will have a walkabout and orientation of the town centre and visit an award winning estate for an inspiring tasting of the local vintages.

 

Franschhoek

Franschhoek is an idyllic small town with century old vineyards. Also known as the French corner or Elephants corner, named after the original occupants of the valley, its main road is dotted with a plethora of restaurants and cafes. Take a walk down the road to shop at a boutique store or buy a souvenir at one of the local vendors. Sit down to a meal at one of the many award winning restaurants. Enjoy a relaxed, wine tasting at one the plentiful, stately estates. 

 

Paarl

Paarl, the largest of the three towns, is home to the Afrikaans Taalmonument, a monument to the Afrikaans language. It was also the former headquarters of the South African wine industry. Sample a final cheese and wine tasting at one of the local vineyard estates, before heading back to Cape Town.
